Bible teaching about personal relationships produce great benefits, and shows us how we can ?avoid, minimize, and resolve conflicts. Relationship is fragile and really requires love, understanding, respect, trust, prayer, communication, managing emotions, encouragement, solving conflicts, and accepting responsibility.

Love:?Love?is an?emotion?of strong?affection?and personal?attachment.?Love is also a?virtue??representing all of human?kindness,?compassion,?and affection; and ?the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another??Love may also be described as actions towards others (or oneself) based on compassion, or as actions towards others based on affection. ?Love?is a precious gift, which we receive from Jesus. Pure and holy affection is not a feeling, but a principle. Those who are actuated by true love are neither unreasonable nor blind?here is but little real, genuine, devoted, pure love. This precious article is very rare. Passion is termed love.?True love is a high and holy principle, altogether different in character from that love which is awakened by impulse, and which suddenly dies when severely tested.? Ellen G. Love:?The definition ?found in the Bible?1 Corinthians 13:4-8?KJV ?In any relationship we should exhibit the love of Christ the agape love. John 3:16.) We should practice all of the above mentioned in meaning of love, among each other and live them out daily, ???Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.?Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.?Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.??Philippians 2:2-4) ? Jesus said that we are to ?love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.? John 13; 34-35) ?God is love so let us live out these in our life; agape, unconditional love in our actions,deeds and words.?

But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.?

Some Biblical Ways to Build healthy relationships.

Prayer? is very important in life and in relationships. It is through prayer that we build up our relationship with our father God. When Jesus was on earth He was in constant commune with His father by praying.?. Jesus said, ?But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you,?and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;??Matthew 5:44)??We should practice this in our relationships and live it?^?And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; ?That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.?Philippians 1:9-10) E.G.WHITE says ?Prayer is the breath of the soul. It is the secret of spiritual power.?

Encouragement: ?Ever heard these sayings; ?Encouragement sweetens labor; ?Encourage one another and build each other up; If you have nothing good to say keep your mouth shut. I prove them to be true. Criticism is not good for any relationship, negative criticism that is. ?But we serve a Marvelous God who we can turn to in His word for wisdom. ?Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your?mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.???Ephesians 4:29)?Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.?Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.??Colossians 4:5,6) We should make others feel important, listen attentively, a friendly smile, a kind word, a note, compliment will encourage and enhance relationship. Just saying thank you is encouraging.

Respect;?Respect is the very foundation for a great relationship. This also means respecting yourself and respecting others. We should not criticize negatively as this can lead up to contempt of each other. Positive?criticism?in love, is so much better as this can lead up to improvement. It is better to express respect and show respect. This?will build?a positive relationship.??Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ?s sake hath forgiven you.? (Ephesians 4:31-32).

Accept Responsibility?for our actions, ?But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.? ?1Corinthians 11:28).?We should take responsibility for our actions without blaming others?for things that go wrong. This will damage a healthy relationship. The blame game started in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. Eve blaming the snake and Adam blaming Eve and Adam blaming God. read?Genesis 3:1-13) ? No?one wanted?to take?responsibility?for his/her own actions. Because of that choice disobedience, we are now reaping the consequences -sin.

Solving ?Conflict:??Sometimes, to maintain the relationship, we ?must agree to disagree about a particular subject of disagreement. We?should learn to work around things we cannot change. If?necessary?get mediator such as pastors to resolve conflicts in troubled relationships ?and to begin the process of building positive relationships. ??But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ?.(Ephesians 4:15) ?Speak truthfully to each other ? Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.?Ephesians 4; 25

Managing Emotions:??Bible teaching about building relationships teach us how we can manage our emotions. ?Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice.?And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ?s sake hath forgiven you.??Ephesians 4:31- 32; Galatians 5:17-26.)

Communication: The most important part of any healthy relationship is putting God first and make Him the center and Head of the relationship. (life) ?Communication means that you are able to share things about yourself and your feelings. It also means that you listen to what the other person shares. This can happen by doing the following; talking, emailing, writing, texting, or even using body language. When you are talking to someone, look him or her in the eye to show that you are listening and give the person your undivided attention.

Best Career Advice Ever: 'Don't Coast Through Life' | Life@Adobe

Lea H., VP of Design and Web Product Management at Adobe, has experienced a variety of twists and turns in her 23 year-technology career. She?s been a consultant, product manager, application developer, marketer and more. But now she?s taking on one of her biggest challenges yet: heading up a brand new consumer group at Adobe that aims to make design and creativity approachable for the mass market.

As you can see from her career path, she?s never been one to shirk a challenge. The best advice she received came from a nun named sister Leonora who advised ?don?t coast through life.? Lea shared, ?That has been my own personal mantra that gave me an excuse to have a crazy career path. I feel fortunate to have had that advice early on.?

Lea shared this advice and much more during an Adobe & Women brownbag event this month. Some of her other top advice included:

* Honesty. If you don?t know the answer, don?t make it up. Lea said a big part of her personal brand is authenticity and standing behind what she believes.

* Ask for help. Everyone hits a wall in their career at times. Tap formal and informal mentors for guidance.

* Embrace failure. She said one of the biggest learning lessons in her career was when she launched a product and it didn?t go well.

* Take risks. ?If you make decisions based on risk to your career you?ll never make the right decision. It?s not about me or you or the career ?it?s about having the guts to move things forward for the business,? she said.

* Surround yourself with different points of view. A key mistake that leaders can make is to have a team that believes exactly what the leader believes. Lea said, ?A true leader will put people on their team who won?t agree with you because you?ll always get to a better result.?

* Learn the business. Branch out and get to know areas of the business outside your function. You will benefit from it and so will your team.

Michelle Yeoh calls Myanmar's Suu Kyi her 'hero' (AP)

BANGKOK ? Michelle Yeoh says she was keen to portray Aung San Suu Kyi as soon as she heard a film was being made about the life of the Myanmar democracy icon.

"The Lady," starring the Malaysian actress, opens in U.S. theaters next month.

Yeoh says the Nobel Peace Prize laureate is a hero of hers. She was promoting the movie Wednesday in Thailand, where most of the movie was shot.

The enthusiasm is not entirely requited. Suu Kyi said in an interview last month she doesn't plan to see the movie and doesn't like watching films supposedly about herself.

EU leaders seek growth as Greece crisis looms (AP)

BRUSSELS ? With another recession looming, European leaders on Monday met in Brussels to discuss ways to stimulate growth and create badly needed jobs, even as they drew up tighter spending limits to avoid a repeat of the crippling debt crisis.

Europe's debt crisis has put the continent and its leaders in an almost impossible situation. While they have to slash their deficits to reassure investors reluctant to lend to them, the debt crisis has also hammered the so-called "real economy," sending unemployment soaring. Many think that only government spending can restart growth.

While the 27 EU leaders meeting in Brussels will focus on walking the fine line between reining in spending and stimulating growth, the elephant in room is Greece.

Greece and its bondholders have come closer to a deal to significantly reduce the country's debt and pave the way for it to receive a much-needed euro130 billion ($170 billion) bailout.

Negotiators for Greece's private creditors said Saturday that a debt-reduction deal could become final within the next week. If the agreement works as planned, it could help Greece avoid a catastrophic default, which would be a blow to Europe's already weak financial system.

But European officials are afraid that even that deal may not be enough to fix Greece's finances, with some blaming Athens for dithering in its austerity promises.

German officials over the weekend proposed that Athens temporarily cede control over tax and spending decisions to a powerful eurozone budget commissioner before it can secure further bailouts.

The idea proved immediately controversial ? both the European Commission and the Greek government refuted it ? to the point that German Chancellor Angela Merkel pulled back on the idea when she arrived in Brussels.

She said Europe had to support Greece in implementing promised austerity and reform measures, "but all that will only work if Greece and all other states discuss this together."

Luxembourg Prime Minister, and head of the group of eurozone finance ministers, Jean-Claude Juncker told reporters as he entered the summit that Greece couldn't be singled out.

"I'm strongly against the idea of imposing the debt commissioner only to Greece, that's just not acceptable" neither for Greece nor the rest of Europe, Juncker said.

The negotiations in Greece are crucial because it is clear that Athens will never be able to pay off all of its debts, especially as austerity measures take their toll on its anemic economy. Martin Schulz, president of the European Parliament, cautioned against punishing Greece too severely.

"Greece needs an economic relaunch today and not in 2016," he told reporters on the sidelines of the summit. "So why not put together a stimulus package today instead of discussing another time a reduction in spending in a country that's in an economic depression?

He said that there are European funds for that kind of stimulus, but unlocking them has always posed a challenge.

The European Commission has proposed to summit leaders that euro82 billion in existing development funds be redirected toward countries in dire need of help to fix their labor markets.

Greece is not alone in facing slow growth and high unemployment. In Spain, for example, unemployment has soared to nearly 23 percent and closed in on 50 percent for those under age 25, leaving more than 5 million people ? or almost one out of every four ? out of work as the country slides toward recession.

Even countries in the so-called European "core" ? which are generally better off ? are suffering. The French government was forced Monday to revise down its growth forecast for the year from 1 percent to just 0.5 percent.

In fact, many now fear that Europe is on the verge of another recession, and leaders gathering Brussels said that spurring growth would be the focus of their talks Monday.

A draft of the summit conclusions, obtained by The Associated Press, proposes reducing barriers to do business across the EU's 27 states and giving better training to young people, who are particularly hard-hit by unemployment.

But it does not contain any new financial stimulus to boost growth, even though turning around Europe's economy would likely require more stimulus from governments, which are currently under pressure to cut ? rather than increase ? spending.

"We have to have balanced budgets and at the same time focus on growth and jobs," said Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt of Denmark, which holds the rotating presidency of European Council. "It is possible to both at the same time and it is important to understand that these are two sides of the same coin."

The 27 heads of state and government got a taste of the popular frustration with austerity and high unemployment on their way to Monday's summit in a city paralyzed by strikes. Leaders had to fly into the military airport of Beauvechain 20 miles (30 kilometers) outside of Brussels after the city's main airport was shutdown by a 24-hour strike.

Belgium's three main unions joined forces in the walkout to protest national budgetary measures that have in part been imposed on the country by the EU. If the country hadn't met cost-cutting targets, financial sanctions would have been imposed.

Monday's strike has been mirrored in many other member states. Overall, 23 million people are jobless across the EU, 10 percent of the active population.

"Europe has to offer jobs, social protection and perspective for the future. Otherwise it risks losing the support of its citizens," said the strike manifesto of the ACV union.
