As the son of a military officer, it seems as if Edgar Ramirez was destined for his latest role in Zero Dark Thirty. In this controversial follow-up film from the Oscar-winning duo behind The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal chronicle the grueling, decade-long hunt for terrorist Osama bin Laden after the September 11th attacks.
Last week I sat down with the dreamy Venezuelan actor who stars as Larry, a CIA ground branch operative and surveillance specialist who is recruited by the central character in the film, Maya (Jessica Chastain) to aid in the search for the al-Qaeda founder.
